Bluetooth Amps

RE Audio BT900.4

As the Sonic Electronix team walked around the International CES show in Las Vegas this year, one improvement in the car audio industry that stood out to us was the large amount of Bluetooth Car Amplifiers. In 2014, there were a couple Bluetooth Amps, such as the Kicker PXiBT amp and RE Audio’s BT900.4 amplifier. However, this year there were a lot more Bluetooth amps out on the show floor. Cerwin Vega, Infinity, JBL, as well as Kicker all released new Bluetooth Amps that are sure to change the way you listen to music in your vehicle! Each of these Bluetooth amps features cutting-edge technology which will improve your system.

1Seamless Connectivity

Bringing Bluetooth technology to car amplifiers enables an extreme ease of connectivity. Even if your car stereo does not have Bluetooth, these car amplifiers make it extremely easy to connect your device via Bluetooth. In addition, to make things even easier, most models feature one touch pairing technology.

2Even More Features

In addition to Bluetooth, most of these newly released Bluetooth amplifiers that came out this year, come with other features that you wouldn’t be able to find in a non-Bluetooth amplifier. For example, the Infinity & JBL Bluetooth car amplifiers include “party mode,” which allows the user to share DJ control with up to three devices. Kicker‘s new bluetooth IQ Series amplifiers feature compatibility with their IQI interface, which allows connecting Bluetooth with a microphone to up to four IQ amplifiers.

Infinity BassLink SM Shallow Mount Powered Car Subwoofer

One of the great new products that Infinity™ introduced at the International CES show this year was their completely redesigned BassLink SM. The BassLink is a shallow mount powered car subwoofer. This compact, under the seat subwoofer is designed to improve the bass performance in vehicles while putting the richness back into the music. In addition, the BassLink SM’s small housing makes it possible to add bass to your vehicle without taking  up a whole bunch of space. In fact, you can even install it under your car seat!

Infinity Basslink SM

  • Compact, Long Excursion, 8-Inch Subwoofer
  • Class D 80W Amplification
  • Extremely Shallow Design
  • Fits Underneath or Behind Car Seat
  • Beautiful, Sleek Design
  • Easy Installation

The release of this brand new BassLink design definitely impressed us. The last model of Infinity’s BassLink powered car subwoofer was a much bigger design, with a 10″ subwoofer and a much wider housing. We love the new BassLink design and the fact that it adds excellent bass to your vehicle – at a great price! The BassLink SM powered car subwoofers will be available for purchase at Sonic Electronix sometime in April. Until next time, we’ll cya later!

Sonic at CES

Members of the SonicElectronix.com’s press and media team had the opportunity to attend the 2009 CES tradeshow in Las Vegas.  CES is the Consumer Electronics Show and is produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA).  Each year at CES, new technology and products are introduced to those in attendance. As we went from booth to booth to check out all the new stuff, we were quite impressed with all the new products that will be coming out this year.  In this article, we will touch on some of the highlights in the in-vehicle section of CES.

Some of the main highlights that we saw came from the JVC, KICKER, and DLS booths.  Each had new products to boast and be proud of. For JVC, the AVX77 continues the El Kameleon line of single DIN AV head units.  It features a fully customizable wide touchscreen display that takes up the entire space of the unit. It deserved the CES Best of Innovations award that it was given. Excited for the New Year, KICKER introduced the Solo Classic subwoofer line, two new component speaker systems, headphones, and more!  The Solo Classic subs go back to an older design, but take a step forward with the technology that powers these bad boys. The QS and RS component systems are a step up from the KS series and sound superb. The QS series will also be replacing the SS series from KICKER.  The KICKER headphones made a huge wave at CES and impressed anyone and everyone that listened to them.  Over at the DLS booth, we were able to see and hear the impeccable DLS component speakers and amplifiers.  First-class engineering was apparent when we heard these Swedish speakers come alive.

Overall, 2009 will be a great year for the mobile electronics industry.  From what SonicElectronix.com saw at the show, great things are coming to a car near you.  MaxxSonics has redesigned and improved their Hifonics amplifiers.  JL Audio releases even more quality auto speakers and subwoofers.  The Pioneer and Premier lines from Pioneer are raising the bar and setting the standard for receiver expandability.  Dual’s huge line up of head-units and receivers amazed those that entered the Dual booth.  Kenwood released many new products for both the car and the boat.  MTX continued to show off their subs and amps, as well as showcasing the enormous square Jackhammer subwoofer.  Look forward to all the new products that will be released this year.  You will not be disappointed.
