Clarion NX501

Remember maps? Do you recall driving in unfamiliar places while scouring a paper with a size that rivals your windshields sun shade, eager to find small written street names while you progressively become more lost? Well, all of that hassle is just a memory in 2011. In-dash GPS Navigation Receivers of today can improve your car experience with a 6.2” touch-screen capable of processing music from CD’s, iPods and other MP3 players with exceptional quality. Not only can you listen to your favorite music with more intuitive menus than before, you’ll also be able to make and receive your cellular phone calls through the speakers, making driving while talking hands-free.

Clarion released a new In-Dash Navigation Receiver for their 2011 product line-up, and it’s quite advancement. The Clarion NX501 is an upgraded version of the previous model, the Clarion NX500. Some of the first advancements with this receiver when you first look at it is the advanced user interface. This interface was designed with convenience and quality in mind. Starting with a new source selection screen, this display screen clearly overviews all of your available listening sources. Dual zone entertainment is also featured on this radio to allow for separate audio to be played out of the front and rear speakers of the vehicle. This can be especially handy when there are passengers in the back watching something that you may not want to listen to.

A built-in SiRFprima GPS receiver allows the radio to store 15 million points-of-interest such as restaurants, hotels, gas stations, and banks to help guide you across the US 50 States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Clarion even backs their maps up with a “Latest Map Guarantee” so you know you’re getting up to date maps along with your In-Dash GPS Receiver. Parrot Bluetooth also is featured with this Clarion In-Dash GPS Receiver for quality hands-free conversations.
