The top of this digital recorder features two built-in condenser microphones in an X-Y configuration and provides you with high quality stereo recording. The microphones are constructed with an omni-directional pattern that offers 360° of audio capture. The top also includes a 1/8” (3.5mm) stereo line input jack, and a combination 1/8” (3.5mm) stereo headphone/line output jack. The right side panel is equipped with a standard USB 2.0 port that supports storage drives, a mini 5-pin USB port for simple connection to a computer, a mic gain switch, 1/8” (3.5mm) stereo microphone input jack, and output level control for headphone level adjustment. The left side of this recorder features an input gain switch with 3 levels (20, 0, and +10 db), the power (on/off) switch, and a DC input port for the included AC adapter. Last but not least is the SD card slot located at the bottom of this device, this allows recording onto FAT and FAT32 formatted SD or SDHC cards.

The iKey HDR7 allows you to record from any mono or stereo line source, MP3, AAC, WAV (BWF), and AIFF files. Some other cool features include a loop button, marker button to mark tracks, automatic marker mode, built-in limiter to eliminate distortion, a compressor to enhance vocals, noise gate to keep out unwanted noise, built-in guitar and chromatic tuners, and playback of previously recorded media. The package includes a stand, AC adapter, wind screen, cloth carrying case, 4 AA batteries, and 1 GB SD card.
